The Lake Party

One of our goals with this event is to bring back the close feeling of camaraderie within the triathlon community in Phoenix. We believe that, although there are many different groups, we are all triathletes, we all fight the same fight and we should not only race together, but occasionally party together.

The Lake Party will actually start the day before the race, on May 31st. We will be onsite, preparing the course and doing last minute registrations and check ins, so you are welcome to join us, get a short swim in, drive the course, or just hang out with us at the lake. We encourage everyone to bring drinks and food and just make it a good time. Even if you aren't racing or have friends and family that aren't racing, bring them along and come make it a party. We'll be camping out for the night so you are welcome to do the same, you just have to pay Lake Pleasant Regional Park the typical camping fee ($6 entry into the park).

Party Details

  • BYOB - We ask that you bring your own beer to this event. We know, it's not what you're used to and we apologize, but this way you can drink your favorite brews and it's actually cheaper for you too... Unless you're into $8/bottle IPAs...

  • Tailgate - Some of you have those fancy tailgating type grills, or you have a truck to bring a regular grill. Well, feel free to bring it, get your friends to chip in with burgers and buns and grill up some good food while we're out there! Or just get your friends who aren't racing to do it for you so that it's ready when you arrive!

  • Swim - One of the frustrating things about racing in Tempe is that you never get a chance to jump back in the water after finishing to cool off and wash the sweat away. Those restrictions don't exist at Lake Pleasant so bring your favorite floaty raft, and cool off with a beer after you work hard on the course!

  • Park Entry - Everyone that enters the park will have to pay the entry fee at the guard gate. It's $6, just like in all the other regional parks in town. This supports our awesome parks and keeps events like this possible!

  • Bring Games - Got corn-hole boards, or beer pong tables, or horseshoes, or other fun things like that? Bring them along and we'll get a tournament going. Like we've been saying, we want this to be laid back, hanging out, like you're with your best friends.

  • Enjoy it! - We are a new company and we are a local company. We are passionate about building our community but we are not flashy or fancy. This will be a simple, grassroots, back to the basics type of event and we are VERY excited about it. We hope you enjoy the event and we know that we can grow this event year after year WITHOUT losing sight of the goal: to bring our multi-sport community together and have fun while doing what we all love. Thank you!
